1st Hiawatha Night Market was actually fun… and we made bank!

Friday August 25 from 5-9pm was the first-ever Hiawatha Night Market.
At least 14 vendors set up in the community room and outside and, even with light promotion, many folks came and bought wares.
A popcorn machine run by 8-year-old Lucas Warlick was a seductive scent lure.
Overall, both vendors and shoppers had a fun time chatting, exchanging info, and buying.
Some of us Hiawathans even got to barter!

Organized by Jeri Warlick and Kelly Davis (go 4th floor!) the next one is planned for October 20th.
We hope to add live music and a fall/harvest/scary jack-o-lantern set-up for photos.
